If you're close to this coast (or are looking for a reason to visit) and would like to spend a full day immersed in learning accessible but effective ways to make beach-inspired beads and other West Coast wearable, functional, or decorative objects, please visit their website.

This year at MPCG Vio and Margi planned a fun little activity called
"Creating a Masterpiece. Of course they were the only ones who knew that
at the beginning. Each participant was given a printed template the
size of an ATC (art trading card...2.5 x 3.5) and was asked to
replicate the image on the card. They were asked to keep the tones and
lines similar, but could use texture, pattern, dimension etc. On Sunday
we assembled the painting to create Picasso's "The Dream" It was our
masterpiece!!!
